Irish Internet Hotline is the national centre of expertise countering illegal and harmful content online, namely child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAM & CSEM), non-consensual sharing of intimate images and videos (IIA), racism and xenophobia, and financial scams. With each piece of illegal and harmful content we remove from the internet, there is one less instance of suffering and revictimisation. We also form part of the Irish Safer internet.
A safer internet for all, especially children is at the heart of everything we do.
We are a small, passionate team working in a not-for-profit organisation, in partnership with a diverse mix of stakeholders, law enforcement, government, academia, tech companies, NGOs, and international partners to make the internet safer.
Contributing to make a tangible difference in the lives of countless children and people within Ireland and globally, makes Irish Internet Hotline a very satisfying place to work. Everyone on the team at Irish Internet Hotline, regardless of their role works with a sense of relentless determination and passion which is unique to our organisation. Our values act as a reminder of the important work we do; we are open, we strive to be the best at what we do, we are team players, we care, we respect.
